Who We Are
The Defense and Strategic Industries Association of India (DISA) is an industry body dedicated to strengthening India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem and supporting the national indigenisation drive under the Make in India initiative launched by Narendra Modi. DISA was founded in 2013 and is registered as a non-profit organization.As one of India’s leading defence industry associations, DISA promotes high-technology commerce and serves as a responsible, legal, and ethical platform for collaboration between industry stakeholders and government agencies.
DISA was established by a group of distinguished ex-IITians from India and abroad who share a common vision of strengthening India’s emerging high-technology economy through active participation in the defence industrial sector.
